Chocolate Rush Festival set to tantalise your taste buds in August...

The inaugural Chocolate Rush Festival will take place on the weekend of the 4 and 5 August 2007. The City of Bendigo will be consumed by chocolate lovers from all over the state as they converge on Bendigo to learn more about their favourite pastime.

Chocolate Rush Festival is aimed to educate, indulge and challenge your palate! Everything you have always wanted to know about chocolate combining the respect for tradition, fantasy and attention to quality.

It’s about the cocoa bean and how it is produced, how it is seen, the sound as it snaps, the aroma, the texture and most importantly the taste!

The BRIT City Campus Bendigo will become the chocolate hub for the weekend with workshops, master classes, demonstrations, children activities, the Australian Chocolate Championships, a Chocolate market and more! Local food andwine and live entertainment can also be enjoyed in the cocoa bean soaked atmosphere of Chocolate Rush.

One of the highlights during Chocolate Rush will be the creation of the Chocolate Rush pass to Bendigo’s restaurants and cafes. The pass will give chocolate lovers the opportunity to explore and experience some of Bendigo’s culinary delights.
